FAQ
Will it look exactly like the person?
It captures the face shape and features very closely. The app builds its own hair, eye colour and head shape, so you finish the look in MyPLAYER.
Why are faces built clean-shaven?
The scanner handles beards badly and turns them into grey patches. 2K has its own beards, so add one after the scan.
How does the library work?
We build stars ourselves from free-licensed photos and check each one before it is listed. If your star is here, buy it for $5.99. If not, vote for it for free and we build the most-requested ones.
Are the star faces official?
No. They are fan-made face scans, not affiliated with or endorsed by any player, team or 2K. If a player or team asks us to take one down, we remove it.
My scan does not work, or shows rainbow lines.
Rainbow lines come from filming a monitor. Put the phone straight in front of the screen's centre, keep brightness moderate, and use the Softness and Warmer / cooler sliders in scan mode. Still stuck? Email us. All sales are final, but we look at every case.
